Tips and Tricks

Check for Doneness

Start checking the brownies at the 25-minute mark. Insert a toothpick into the center; it should come out with a few moist crumbs, not wet batter.

Chill for Firmness

If you prefer a firmer frosting, refrigerate the frosted brownies for about 20-30 minutes before cutting.

Using Dark Chocolate Chips

Substitute semisweet chocolate chips with dark chocolate chips for a richer flavor.

Adding Nuts

Mix in 1 cup of chopped walnuts or pecans for added texture and flavor.

How to Store Brownies

Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week. For longer storage, freeze the cookies for up to three months.
